Charlotte Loukola is a Finnish American violinist whose work spans solo, chamber, orchestral, and contemporary performance. She currently serves as Assistant Concertmaster of the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular Orchestra and performs regularly with ensembles including Palm Beach Opera, Palm Beach Symphony, and South Florida Symphony Orchestra. In 2025, she toured nationally as Finlandia Foundation National’s Performer of the Year.

An active chamber musician, Charlotte is a co founder of the New York City based Evelyn String Quartet, with performances across the United States and Europe, including Finland, Sweden, Germany, and Austria. She has appeared regularly at Carnegie Hall in chamber music performances and is a prize winner of multiple international chamber competitions, including the Coltman Chamber Music Competition and the Stockholm International Music Competition.

As a soloist, she has received recognition in international competitions across Europe and North America, including top prizes at the International Music and Stars Awards Competition, the Anja Ignatius Violin Competition, and the Stockholm International Music Competition. Her solo appearances include performances throughout Europe, with both recital and orchestral engagements.

Her artistic work reflects a broad musical scope, ranging from baroque to contemporary repertoire, with continued collaboration with living composers in the development and performance of new works.

Charlotte’s training includes studies at The Juilliard School, the Cleveland Institute of Music, and the Sibelius Academy. She has worked with leading artists and faculty including Masao Kawasaki, Ilya Kaler, and Réka Szilvay.

Her festival appearances include the Aspen Music Festival and School, the Heifetz International Music Institute, the New York String Orchestra Seminar, and the Saluzzo Opera Academy, where she served as concertmaster.

She performs on an 1886 French violin by Paul Blanchard.
