CHRISTINA GROHOWSKI
Mezzo-Soprano
Mezzo-soprano Christina Grohowski is an emerging artist known for her expressive vocal warmth and engaging stage presence. She holds a Master of Music in Voice and Opera from the Yale School of Music, where she studied with Adriana Zabala, and a Bachelor of Music from the SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Music.
Christina has performed with companies including Lyric Opera of Kansas City, Santa Fe Opera, and Yale Opera. Her repertoire includes roles such as Tisbe in La Cenerentola, Kate Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly, Martha in Iolanta, Clarina in La cambiale di matrimonio, Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro, Alisa in Lucia di Lammermoor, Mother Goose in The Rake’s Progress, and Flora in La traviata (cover). She has also appeared in productions such as Der Rosenkavalier, L’elisir d’amore, and The Righteous with Santa Fe Opera.
In addition to her stage work, Christina has participated in programs including Houston Grand Opera’s Young Artists Vocal Academy (YAVA) and Classic Lyric Arts in both Novafeltria, Italy, and the Berkshires, further refining her artistry and expanding her engagement with contemporary and traditional repertoire.
