Actor / Singer

Elio Kennedy-Yoon is a New York City–based actor, singer, and performer whose work spans musical theatre, contemporary performance, film, and dance. He has appeared in a wide range of theatrical productions and new works, with performances presented at major academic and professional venues in New York and beyond.

Recent stage credits include The Old Man and the Old Moon (PigPen Theatre Co.), Romeo and Juliet (Adrienne Chan), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Something Rotten!, Shimcheong (Dive) by Julia Riew, and OUT: An Asian American Musical. He has also been featured in Tom Toce’s annual Harvard–Yale Cantata concerts at 54 Below and has participated in developmental workshops for new theatrical works.

Elio has appeared in short film projects including Evergreen and OUT, and has worked as a professional dancer with the Laja Martin Dance Company. His performance practice is rooted in collaboration across disciplines, integrating theatre, movement, and music.

Elio received his theatrical training at Harvard University, where he was actively involved in musical theatre, new works development, and performance-based storytelling. During his time at Harvard, he performed extensively in stage productions and workshops and developed a strong foundation in acting, vocal performance, and ensemble collaboration.

An active vocalist, Elio is a longtime member of the Harvard Din & Tonics, one of the world’s most recognized a cappella ensembles, where he has served as Vice President and Producer. With the group, he has toured extensively across North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, and South America, performing in major international cities and cultural venues.

Through his work on stage and in music, Elio is committed to storytelling that is physically expressive, musically driven, and grounded in contemporary voices. He continues to develop new projects while performing regularly in New York City.
