Trumpeter Evan Schreiber is an active performer based in New York City and Brussels, recognized for his versatility, refined musicianship, and strong commitment to contemporary music. His performances span major concert halls including Carnegie Hall, David Geffen Hall, and Alice Tully Hall, where he appears as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral collaborator.
A dedicated advocate for new music, Evan has commissioned and premiered works for trumpet, most notably Kaleidoscope by composer Katie Jenkins. He continues to work closely with emerging artists to expand the modern trumpet repertoire and champion innovative musical voices.
Evan received his Bachelor’s degree from Ithaca College and his Master’s degree from The Juilliard School. He later pursued advanced studies at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. His festival engagements include the Aspen Music Festival and the Sewanee Summer Music Festival, where he cultivated a diverse artistic profile across solo, orchestral, and chamber settings.
Maintaining an international freelance career, Evan performs throughout NYC and Brussels, contributing to a wide range of ensembles, creative projects, and contemporary collaborations.
