SYLVIA BEACH

Sylvia Beach is a horn player based in New York City, active across orchestral, chamber, and solo performance. She has performed with ensembles including The Juilliard Orchestra, Symphony in C, Juilliard Wind Orchestra, and Juilliard Opera Orchestra, appearing in venues such as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center.

She has held principal positions with The Juilliard Orchestra and the Music Academy of the West Festival Orchestra, and has been recognized for her orchestral leadership and ensemble work.

An active chamber musician, Sylvia performs with the Crimson Brass Trio and the Corte Forte Horn Quartet, and has participated in the American Brass Quintet Seminar at The Juilliard School. Her chamber work includes collaborations, festival appearances, and performances of both established and contemporary repertoire.

As a soloist, she was named a finalist and runner up in the Juilliard Horn Concerto Competition.

Her festival engagements include Aspen Music Festival, Spoleto Festival, and the Music Academy of the West, reflecting a broad and evolving artistic presence across major training programs and performance platforms.

Sylvia currently studies under Erik Ralske at The Juilliard School.
