JOHANNA WILL

Soprano

German soprano Johanna Will is internationally recognized for her radiant voice, dramatic depth, and compelling artistry. Based between Europe and the United States, she is a graduate of the Mannes School of Music in New York and the Hochschule für Musik Hamburg. She is also a former Rolex Scholar at the Solti Accademia di Bel Canto, where she trained with renowned artists Angela Gheorghiu, Richard Bonynge, and Dennis O’Neill.

Johanna has appeared with leading institutions including the San Francisco Opera’s Merola Program, the Ravinia Festival, the Music Academy of the West, and the Glimmerglass Festival. Her concert engagements have featured collaborations with the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonic Orchestra Heidelberg, the Santa Barbara Symphony, and the Tirana Symphony Orchestra, showcasing her versatility across symphonic and operatic repertoire.

Her operatic work includes significant portrayals such as Senta in Der fliegende Holländer and performances at major European opera houses and festivals. With a powerful stage presence and a distinctive vocal palette, Johanna Will continues to expand her international profile as a dramatic soprano of exceptional promise.
