WEI WEI

Dancer Choreographer

International Dance Artist, Educator & Cultural Arts Leader

Wei Wei is an international dance artist, educator, choreographer, and cultural arts leader whose career spans more than two decades across performance, education, creative production, and global cultural exchange.

Her professional journey has taken her across Asia, Europe, and North America, with appearances at some of the world’s most established DanceSport competitions and platforms. Her career highlights include championship titles at the East Asian Games and Asian Indoor Games, as well as finalist and team championship achievements at the prestigious Blackpool Dance Festival. She has also served as an international adjudicator and educator within the global DanceSport community.

Beyond the competitive stage, Wei has developed a multidisciplinary career connecting dance with media, entertainment, and cultural programming. She has worked as a choreographer, dance director, performer, and creative producer for major television and live productions, while collaborating with artists and creative professionals across disciplines.

Education and mentorship have remained central to her practice. During more than a decade in higher education, she trained emerging dancers who went on to achieve national and international recognition. She later expanded this vision through international training initiatives, including Asia Camp, bringing together artists and participants from more than 20 countries through dance, travel, and cultural exchange.

Her work has also contributed to connecting internationally recognized dance platforms with new creative communities, including World of Dance and Millennium Dance Complex, reflecting her broader commitment to building meaningful connections between artists, institutions, and audiences across borders.

At the heart of Wei’s practice is a belief in the arts as a shared global language—one that transcends geography, creates dialogue, and empowers the next generation of artists to participate in an increasingly interconnected cultural world.
