Pianist William Schwartzman is currently pursuing his studies in jazz performance at The Juilliard School, where his work reflects a deep curiosity for sound, creativity, and artistic expression. He has appeared on major international stages including the Royal Albert Hall, the Concertgebouw, Carnegie Hall, the Hollywood Bowl, and the Monterey Jazz Festival, sharing his music with audiences across a wide range of traditions.
Drawing inspiration from both jazz and broader stylistic influences, William has been recognized with multiple distinctions such as DownBeat Student Music Awards, YoungArts honors, and the Grand Prize in the Music Center’s Spotlight competition. He has performed alongside artists including Wynton Marsalis, Dee Dee Bridgewater, and other musicians who continue to shape his artistic vision.
Committed to using music as a means of imagination and connection, William hopes to create work that reflects his belief in the world as it is—and the world as it could be.
