Iranian soprano Forooz Razavi, winner of the prestigious Voci Verdiane Competition, has quickly emerged as one of the most compelling voices of her generation. A former young artist at the Accademia Teatro alla Scala, she made her debut as Alice Ford in Falstaff and has since appeared in leading roles across Europe, including performances in La Traviata, Don Giovanni, Un ballo in maschera, and Mahler’s Symphony No. 8 under the baton of Neeme Järvi.
As an Opera for Peace Emerging Artist, Ms. Razavi has performed on major international stages and represented the organization at ChangeNOW in Paris, appearing before global cultural figures and world leaders. She continues to expand her operatic profile with performances such as Madama Cortese in Il viaggio a Reims, showcasing her radiant voice, polished musicianship, and commanding stage presence.
Forooz is the recipient of numerous honors, including the Liricadomani Award, the Angelo Loforese Young Artist Award, and the Regina Margherita Award. Her artistry, versatility, and passionate storytelling continue to captivate audiences worldwide.
