IHOR MOSTOVOI
Baritone
Ukrainian-Canadian baritone Ihor Mostovoi, originally from Mariupol, is recognized for his rich, expressive voice and commanding stage presence. He trained at McGill University in Montréal and at the École Normale de Musique de Paris.
Ihor has worked with several of Europe’s leading opera institutions, including the Opéra National de Paris and Opéra National du Rhin as a Young Artist, and he participated in the Paris Opera–Metropolitan Opera Lindemann Young Artist Program exchange. He has performed with major companies such as Opéra National de Lyon, Théâtre du Châtelet, and Opéra de Bordeaux, with additional international appearances in China, the United States, and Singapore.
A distinguished competition artist, Ihor is the winner of the Concours musical international de Montréal and First Prize (male voice) at the Concours International de Chant de Marmande. He is also an Emerging Artist with Opera for Peace. His growing repertoire includes appearances in productions such as Il viaggio a Reims and concert engagements including Verdi’s Requiem.
